Dr. Thomas Antony, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Hawaii. He has extensive clinical experience working with youth and their families in Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, and India. He was also a university lecturer in India, and an autism consultant/lead therapist for ANK. Dr. Antony has developed seminars, workshops and short courses in the area of Autism spectrum disorders, Aspergers syndrome, Evidence-based strategies in the management of autism and Aspergers syndrome, Cognitive fitness and Critical thinking, Introduction to ABA for parents and educators, Basics of Emotional Intelligence, Functional Behavior Assessment and Enhancing Emotional intelligence – a way to improve relationships at work. Dr. Antony’s workshops have been given as continuing education hours for ANK staff and opened to the general public, with a number of parents and DOE teachers attending as well. Dr. Antony has presented research papers and clinical case studies in national and international conferences in the USA, New Zealand, Sweden, India, and Malaysia and has received academic fellowships/scholarships from Australia, Canada, Denmark and the USA. He has been a visiting professor at the department of clinical psychology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai. Dr. Antony is currently working as a Registered Psychologist in New Zealand. He plans to return to Hawaii in the January 2019, as a Clinical Supervisor, Trainer, Researcher and Clinician across several of ANK’s programs.
